Some people aren't cut out to be entertainers, not saying that to be an asshole, just being fr. I felt so bad that Dellor got hacked. I was following the entire thing unfold, and I just can't imagine how you'd be able to recover from such a devastating breach.
And people say I am paranoid gaming with hardware firewalls and an internal VPN. When my PS4 connects to the net, it gives an error saying there is no internet...but there is 😁 sure it lags my shots sometimes, but nobody has ever got in.

Obviously this guy is not a saint, but I feel for him. His final “breakdown” had me nodding in agreement. I could really put myself in his shoes and feel his despair. Things get overwhelming, especially when you’ve been through as much as he has. I hope he takes time to take care of himself and maybe thinks about leaving his rage persona behind, even if it’s what pays the bills.

His apologies were actually some of the most genuine I’ve seen. Most people don’t admit exactly what they did and why it was bad and hurt people, like he did. It made me want to root for him despite the toxic behavior. It must have been hard not really having a support system.
That apology is probably the result of years of practice and forceful correction. For most autistic people, our instinct when we apologize is to try and explain ourselves, which inevitably comes across as excuses. I'm still trying to get it right, but he's got the "correct" apology down

38:30 It's sad, but the truth is, when you make rage-type content, you attract and create a toxic fandom. They want you to get mad, that's why they're here. You do still get some nice people like the people in the chat saying "we love you". But the toxicity tends to overwhelm the positivity.
I wish nothing but the best of luck for Dellor, his story needs to be shared across as many platforms to understand where he comes from. He does not deserve so much pain that he's been enduring for a while. If anything, mental illness is not a joke and it should be taken seriously given the context of it.
I hope one day that someone suggests an occupational therapist or other autism specialist to him. It seems very much like the sense of being overwhelmed he gets is related, as are the "rages." Even just knowing what causes the different feelings can help; knowing ways to deal with it that work for you is even better. A lot of times, people on the "high-functioning" end of the spectrum just don't ever get that kind of life-changing guidance, because adults and mental health professionals in their lives don't see someone high-functioning as needing that kind of help.
as someone who got banned for 3 years i remember how much dellor resonated with me constantly, a imperfect dude that wears his heart on his sleeve and has an obvious past of deep set trauma just trying to entertain people because it felt like his calling. Nah man, competitive gaming and streaming shouldn't be seen as anything more than a past time hobby. To treat it as a career path gives you about a 99% chance of failure and realizing afterwards that you are years behind your adult peers and lack skills to make up the difference. For now Dellor is seeing some success from not facing his trauma and having constant angry outbursts. He's just putting off confronting his trauma and working through it. It's very mentally unhealthy and in the end he's just pushing off being an adult hoping for permanent adolescence. It never works as anything more than a bandaid and the longer the bandaid stays on, the more infected the wound becomes.

@Symm Thing is, there is a reason he was like this. Dellor built his entire life from less than nothing. Severe mental illness, addiction, thousands of dollars of debt etc. Sure, he has said and done stupid things, but you gotta understand his perspective, too. Dellor is a pure example of someone who was getting ruthlessly beat down by life and kicked while he was down over and over and over again until he eventually snapped. It's truly sad and horrible. Personally, I wish nothing but the best for him and hope he recovers physically, mentally etc.

I used to have anger issues, and one of the happiest moments of my life was when I realized that I hadn't had a freakout in almost a year. These days, I hardly ever get angry, even when something in my life goes seriously wrong. To some people, seeing a freakout is just entertainment, but I feel a lot of sympathy for people who genuinely can't control it. It can take years to conquer, and it can ruin your life if you get angry at the wrong time. I wish nothing but the best for this guy

I’ve heard so many stories of twitch screwing over people for the smallest things while they promote people who consistently break they’re own rules. I don’t use twitch for those reasons. They’re petty backstabbing people and I don’t see how it can be so popular.

When your mental state is in a bad place, a thousand small things or one big thing can make you panic and feel like life is over. I can only imagine how difficult it is to have so much happen in such a short time while already in a really awful state of mind. I hope you're doing better now and living your best life now, Dellor. I never knew dellors back story. I can actually relate a lot to how he grew up, the anger, the stress, and knowing what its like being homeless and not knowing if you will be homeless again. I will admit, i don't really like the content he does, but I do have sympathy and respect for someone coming up from that "untouchable" social class the world seems to ignore. This video hit home so hard. I hope hes doing better, and hes still rising from it all, because its not easy, and its still not easy, and there is a roof. man i feel bad for dellor. he's done a lot of messed up things in the past, but knowing about his upbringing, the trauma streaming gave him and his mental health issues explain a lot about how he acts. i hope everything works out for him and he gets to a stable place, mentally and financially.

Yeah, his mental health wasn't in a good place to start with, but he never made excuses for the actual wrong things he did. He said he knew he did bad and didn't deserve forgiveness but would try to do better, and he consistently did seem to try to do better. That's far better than any of the fake apologies or excuses so many others put out for the same behavior that they never seem to get nearly the same amount of shit for. It's so hard to watch someone who came from such an awful background trying to better themselves financially and mentally and getting shoved back down at every turn even for the most insignificant things. It's like someone was watching from the shadows waiting for any excuse possible to make his life worse in some of these situations.

Given the range of characters I normally see covered here its refreshing to see one about an actual normal, hard working person. He has his flaws and he is clearly trying to work through them. Its impressive how he manages to claw his way out of each valley each time. But it was painful to see how life managed to always tear him back down. A fan once commented to thank him for helping them through a time they were suicidal. He then ranted about how selfish suicide is.

Honestly i wish the best for this man, his imperfections resonate with a lot of people including me. When you see someone dealt such a shitty hand in life and they do the best they can do with what they have you learn to appreciate and value the things you do have and to learn to maneuver things better

Although some of his actions were inexcusable, he did a decent job of taking accountability for them and he seems like a person who wants to improve. Its just so sad to see him lose his mental stability little by little, not to mention what he went through in his growing years. I hope one day he can find the peace he needs. As someone who was once as angry as him i hope one day he can look back and just laugh at things he used to be mad at. I can only imagine what it would be like to live through some of the stuff he did but i hope he can find the help he needs.

I abandoned twitch on a matter of principle long ago, but what they did to this man is absolutely despicable. It’s the epitome of psychological abuse and I’d argue, even emotional torture. I say this as someone with the same diagnoses as him and with an experience that at least outwardly is nearly identical. Watching that ban double-whammy section tore me apart inside.
I think what you said at the end sums up why, at the end of the day, I love the guy. He’s human. More human than anyone else on the platform it feels like, so when he does win, it’s beautiful and amazing and it feels like it’s completely earned. I hope he does return and find the success he deserves.
i have some anger issues aswell (not anywhere close to Dellor, but still) and i truly do empathise with him. It's really sad to me how the internet makes people so disconnected and apathetic and i really want this story to turn into a comeback story and for him of all people, someone who's shown how broken they are, to be able to work on his issues and succeed.
This makes me so sad :( I hope his life is getting better currently. It seems like life kept hitting him with really horrible and traumatic situations which really breaks your soul. He's so cute too. I don't care for gaming but I still wanna follow him cuz of his perseverance. His community is gross.
As someone with ASD, I feel for Dellor. ASD makes emotional regulation much more difficult, sudden change is also a big no-no with ASD. What Dellor went through would be bad enough, but with ASD in the picture, the bad things he went through would be magnified due to being sudden changes, and if he had no outlet, negative emotions could’ve, and probably did, eat him up and impact him rather deeply.

I also have ASD. Just wondering, has anyone else on the spectrum been having issues since things started going back to "normal" after the pandemic? Personally, I've been feeling extremely frustrated. Like, more frustrated than I've ever felt in my life. I got used to the way things were, especially how quiet the streets were, and I don't think I'll ever be able to fully adjust to the way the world is now. I did start vaping CBD and it made me feel better, but I ran out of e-liquid over a month ago and haven't bothered to buy more yet, partially because it's so fcking expensive. The 10ml bottle I bought cost me £17 ($20). Now every time I go out, I feel that same anger that I felt before and it feels bad man. I live in the UK and there's just too many people crammed into too little space. Obviously not a noticeable problem when everyone was on lockdown, but it's definitely noticeable now and it's the source of my frustration.
I had never heard of him before but I cried a lot listening to this. I struggle with mental illness and it heavily runs in my family. He's messed a lot and I expected to be angry with him during this video but it's the opposite. I just want things to work out for him and for him to really achieve stability and happiness

Dellor is forreal an underdog in being faced with so much shit and still pulling it out his success. He's a really misunderstood guy most of the time. With his last breakdown, it totally makes sense in being burned out and stressed, especially with all the bs he faces. Really hope he can get some help, and handle what he needs to.
From where he grew up, im not surprised he has so much pent up rage and emotion. In fact I'm sure streamers with better upbringings has rage inside. A lot of people that play video games dont have healthy ways of dealing with stress. And look what happens, its all comes out.
I work with mental health clients and genuinely enjoy doing so. Makes me really feel for this dude. I like him. I hope he finds success and peace, for that matter.
One thing I will say is the community you build is a direct reflection of the content you make. If he finds his community toxic, it’s because rage content is toxic and toxic people want to watch that type of content. I do feel incredibly sorry for this guy. He has problematic and toxic moments, but that doesn’t mean he deserves everything that’s ever come his way. His whole stream career is the perfect example of “[W]hen it pours.” Add all of the problems he continuously has in regards to his streaming career, together with pre-existing mental health struggles, and all of the other problems he’s having personal life such as his mother’s health, it all adds up and becomes too much. No one should have to deal with that much stress so regularly for so long. As he said, he has no friends, and loneliness and having no one you trust, and care about and who also cares about you, you can talk to makes everything so much worse and makes you feel even lonelier. I truly hope he’s getting the help and support he needs. This whole story just makes me so sad.

Obviously this guy is not a saint, but I feel for him. His final “breakdown” had me nodding in agreement. I could really put myself in his shoes and feel his despair. Things get overwhelming, especially when you’ve been through as much as he has. I hope one day that someone suggests an occupational therapist or other autism specialist to him. It seems very much like the sense of being overwhelmed he gets is related, as are the "rages." Even just knowing what causes the different feelings can help; knowing ways to deal with it that work for you is even better. A lot of times, people on the "high-functioning" end of the spectrum just don't ever get that kind of life-changing guidance, because adults and mental health professionals in their lives don't see someone high-functioning as needing that kind of help.

Nah man, competitive gaming and streaming shouldn't be seen as anything more than a past time hobby. To treat it as a career path gives you about a 99% chance of failure and realizing afterwards that you are years behind your adult peers and lack skills to make up the difference. For now Dellor is seeing some success from not facing his trauma and having constant angry outbursts. He's just putting off confronting his trauma and working through it. It's very mentally unhealthy and in the end he's just pushing off being an adult hoping for permanent adolescence. It never works as anything more than a bandaid and the longer the bandaid stays on, the more infected the wound becomes.

I used to have anger issues, and one of the happiest moments of my life was when I realized that I hadn't had a freakout in almost a year. These days, I hardly ever get angry, even when something in my life goes seriously wrong.
To some people, seeing a freakout is just entertainment, but I feel a lot of sympathy for people who genuinely can't control it. It can take years to conquer, and it can ruin your life if you get angry at the wrong time. I wish nothing but the best for this guy

I never knew dellors back story. I can actually relate a lot to how he grew up, the anger, the stress, and knowing what its like being homeless and not knowing if you will be homeless again. Yeah, his mental health wasn't in a good place to start with, but he never made excuses for the actual wrong things he did. He said he knew he did bad and didn't deserve forgiveness but would try to do better, and he consistently did seem to try to do better. That's far better than any of the fake apologies or excuses so many others put out for the same behavior that they never seem to get nearly the same amount of shit for. It's so hard to watch someone who came from such an awful background trying to better themselves financially and mentally and getting shoved back down at every turn even for the most insignificant things. Given the range of characters I normally see covered here its refreshing to see one about an actual normal, hard working person. He has his flaws and he is clearly trying to work through them. Its impressive how he manages to claw his way out of each valley each time. But it was painful to see how life managed to always tear him back down. Although some of his actions were inexcusable, he did a decent job of taking accountability for them and he seems like a person who wants to improve. Its just so sad to see him lose his mental stability little by little, not to mention what he went through in his growing years. I hope one day he can find the peace he needs. As someone who was once as angry as him i hope one day he can look back and just laugh at things he used to be mad at. I can only imagine what it would be like to live through some of the stuff he did but i hope he can find the help he needs.

I abandoned twitch on a matter of principle long ago, but what they did to this man is absolutely despicable. It’s the epitome of psychological abuse and I’d argue, even emotional torture. I say this as someone with the same diagnoses as him and with an experience that at least outwardly is nearly identical. Watching that ban double-whammy section tore me apart inside.
I think what you said at the end sums up why, at the end of the day, I love the guy. He’s human. More human than anyone else on the platform it feels like, so when he does win, it’s beautiful and amazing and it feels like it’s completely earned. I hope he does return and find the success he deserves.
i have some anger issues aswell (not anywhere close to Dellor, but still) and i truly do empathise with him. It's really sad to me how the internet makes people so disconnected and apathetic and i really want this story to turn into a comeback story and for him of all people, someone who's shown how broken they are, to be able to work on his issues and succeed.

As someone with ASD, I feel for Dellor. ASD makes emotional regulation much more difficult, sudden change is also a big no-no with ASD. What Dellor went through would be bad enough, but with ASD in the picture, the bad things he went through would be magnified due to being sudden changes, and if he had no outlet, negative emotions could’ve, and probably did, eat him up and impact him rather deeply.

I also have ASD. Just wondering, has anyone else on the spectrum been having issues since things started going back to "normal" after the pandemic? Personally, I've been feeling extremely frustrated. Like, more frustrated than I've ever felt in my life. I got used to the way things were, especially how quiet the streets were, and I don't think I'll ever be able to fully adjust to the way the world is now. I did start vaping CBD and it made me feel better, but I ran out of e-liquid over a month ago and haven't bothered to buy more yet, partially because it's so fcking expensive. The 10ml bottle I bought cost me £17 ($20). Now every time I go out, I feel that same anger that I felt before and it feels bad man. I live in the UK and there's just too many people crammed into too little space. Obviously not a noticeable problem when everyone was on lockdown, but it's definitely noticeable now and it's the source of my frustration.

I work with mental health clients and genuinely enjoy doing so. Makes me really feel for this dude. I like him. I hope he finds success and peace, for that matter.
One thing I will say is the community you build is a direct reflection of the content you make. If he finds his community toxic, it’s because rage content is toxic and toxic people want to watch that type of content.
I do feel incredibly sorry for this guy. He has problematic and toxic moments, but that doesn’t mean he deserves everything that’s ever come his way.
His whole stream career is the perfect example of “[W]hen it pours.” Add all of the problems he continuously has in regards to his streaming career, together with pre-existing mental health struggles, and all of the other problems he’s having personal life such as his mother’s health, it all adds up and becomes too much. No one should have to deal with that much stress so regularly for so long.
As he said, he has no friends, and loneliness and having no one you trust, and care about and who also cares about you, you can talk to makes everything so much worse and makes you feel even lonelier.
I truly hope he’s getting the help and support he needs. This whole story just makes me so sad.
