I have to thank my friends and youtubers @19Bozzy92 and @Italiansupercarvideo for the great collaboration done during the event. Don't forget to subscribe to their channels!
You seem to have captured the incredible pace and sound of this car better than the F1 coverage on TV. Good work.
Thank you man! I really appreciate it!
Straight up. The car just looks so much better at some of these lower angles. Even with the fencing in the foreground it's such a cool shot.
ABSOLUTAMENTE ASOMBROSO VIDEO !!!!
Yup, definitely sounds better here.
🤣
F1 need some of those angles during live races specially now when there aren't many fans
I really enjoyed the view coming out of Variante Alta and the run down towards the two rivazzas.
Tbf there's more fans now than in the past few years
@The Triple S Republic The zoomed shots makes any moving object look slow.
f1 will not do that, they are more concerned with zooming on the advertisements in the painting of the cars
I don't understand why F1 only focuses in front angle.Noses aren't only good things to observate in racing,we need all curves
And I don't know if my English is well
The rims look cool when it's stopped, but it looks even cooler when it's on motion.
unfortunately they will be covered
You know what, I actually hated when they told they're gonna introduce larger rims, but this is actually kind of cool
Yeah and imagine them on a smaller car like f2 next year is gonna be lit
@@BMW_Supremacy f2 uses 18 inch rims since 2020
@@skull6740 yes, what I am saying is current f1 cars are bigger in size compared to f2 so next year if the f1 cars are reduced in size they would look even cooler, with 18 inch wheels. Understood?
The V6 does sound really good in this video, if only liberty media could do the same kind of microphone work
The problem is the pitch, its very low.
Its because of the commentators mate, they need to lower the volumes of the mics around the track for them
fckn monsters these cars
Liberty Media doing all they can to ruin F1…..making rules up as they along.
they make the cars proportions look more even its a yes from me.
The fact that Lewis--and not Stoffel Vandoorne or Nyck de Vries--is spearheading this test is very encouraging for his future in the sport beyond 2021. This man is still hungry. I'm not really a Lewis fan, but I think it would be epic to see him battle Leclerc, Verstappen, Norris, and Russell for a couple of years.
Except for Russell I think this year will see just that
No a big fan of Lewis myself. This guy is maybe the best on tires management compared with others of his time. He is wily
i am also not a Lewis fan by the context of not hating him but dominating this past few years in Merc kinda makes it boring, but at the same time he is a goat and i wanna see him make a history with 8 times world champion and by the looks of it this man will stay in this sport at least until 2022 and then he can decide if he wants to leave or not.
Russel?!
I still think he will retire this year but it would be nice having him in 2022
Those tires look really sharp with that car and handles well around the turns man Lewis can really handle that car one hell of a driver
That‘s why he is a 7 time world champion
This video showed the elevation of the track much better than what I've previously seen. The view points and video angles chosen really showed the speed of the car. This video gets FULL 100 from me... EPIC!!!
Thank you man!
Cant wait to see the Alpha tauri white rims
The SOUND sure is the best i have ever heard, the broadcasters and F1 should use this team , for the races fantastic, love it.
🥰🥰
It's HAMILTON doing a TEST!
The dude has zero love for testing and I always felt his one year contract did not reflect that he was thinking of leaving after this year. I always felt he really wants to have a go in the newer cars and I see him doing this test as much as proof of that as you can. He really wants himself and the team to be the best prepared for 2022 as he can be and I am very happy about that:)
His 1 year contract will be extended in 2022
Same thoughts... I remember him saying he wanted to stay for at least another 3 seasons including this 1. So even if he loses out on the WDC this year there is still time for him to try and regain it.
Yeah its just 2021 is kind of a throw away season. Might as well start learning for the fun in 2022
@@GonzoDonzo This season is already epic, I would not call it a throw away season.
@@filegrabber1 tech wise its a throw away season is what im saying. 2022 is a new ballgame
I just want to say that the audio on this video is spectacular!
Thank you man!
Looks like LH will be around for 2022 - happy days!
@niceguy bruh absolutely...10 and out...
i know V6's CaN't SoUnD gOoD but this sounds really good
Yea
Haha nice one, only boomers hate modern f1
Yes! They need to elevate the rpm, much of that V8, V10 is due to high rpm about 16000rpm. As far as I know the actual machines run at maximum 14000
correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty certain on the official merc IG account they said this is a v10 with the v6 paint job
@@davidcox4438 halo? Lower front wing? Tiny rear wing? Lower rev limit like other v6 engines? This is most definitely not a v10 car
Looks more grip in there, Lewis doesn't call bono again
Well there is probably more mechanical grip because it is the W10. (Might be the W09 as well)
@@arthurmorgan8467 Its W12
@@BladeRunner031 nope it's the W10, they said it themselves in their Instagram post about it.... The rules state that any testing can only be done on your 2 year old cars, but I know it's the W12 livery, but that's what all the teams do, they'll use the current livery on older cars when they're doing testing to reflect their new sponsors and stuff
@@arthurmorgan8467 good eye there, it is the W10, I saw a few people debating which version it is, but they finally confirmed to be the W10
@@adamthomas1222 I was reading just PlanetF1 and saw this line "The teams have been permitted by the FIA to use their 2021 challengers, adapted to run the bigger compounds." so I thought its W12
Suspension design is going to play a much greater roll next season. The lower profile means less compliance in the tire so the suspension will have to work harder for the same effect. This extra work should lead to extra heat in the dampers and thus larger/heavier components. And I do think it will lead to more spins and cars that are harder to drive at the limit. Lower profile tires tend to have more peak grip but have less give, sidewall flex, causing the car to break away more suddenly. Driver skill should stand out more.
^^ Hey guys, look at how much I know. I'm so unique and technical.
@@shona5512 You have anything better to do in life than to shit on someone else's comment?
@@shona5512 That's because to U, ignorance is bliss until it's not!!
@@4vepvik781 Where's the ignorance?
@@shona5512 You've answered Ur own question.!!
“I’m struggling on these tyres man” sets the best test time on radials
Love the camera work, makes the car look so much faster than what we see from the main F1 feed
Those F1 cars are blistering fast seen live view in Imola. At least twice the speed in the corners than LMP1-LMP2
Thank you man! I really appreciate it!
There's a great video on RUclips on why TV coverage looks slow, it's many factors. If you search 'why F1 looks slow on tv' it should be one of the top results.
I with they would use these shots rather than always following the cars so closely. We get a MUCH better sense of how fast they're going
That was satisfying to watch.
All teams should have the opportunity to run these future tires. He flying through.
they do, i think they just test them on there own time..
@@trizzy1136 I would believe that , With no testing they all must have it available to run . The suspension a complete redesign to accommodate that stiff side wall . Look fast already . Glad they didn't go to a 20 or larger rim .It look shit
well, they supposed to use this Tires this 2021 Season, but unfortunately due to covid, it got pushed back in 2022.
@@tsar2057 The new concept was pushed to 2022. It will be interesting to see how each team interpret the new rule book. Engine wise I think they are very close. Merc ,Honda ? Ferrari / Renault or Renault / Ferrari
Chassis wise I believe it unpredictable with in reason .
Yes they are. These tires are now used on F2.
The tyres look sick, f1 is slowly becoming modernised to keep up updated with every new generation.
⁉️⁉️⁉️HOW MANY OF YOU GUYS LIKE ME HAVE WATCHED THIS VIDEO FOR GOD KNOWS HOW MANY TIMES, imagining how sir lewis hamilton (ps I'm not a big fan of LH) but come on guys we can never respect and appreciate enough and learn from such a talent.
Listening to the music coming out of this BEAST 🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎in such a quite surrounding environment f1 mercedes (sexiest lookin car out there) driven by a unique talent living the dream we all looking for, and being a good example for every other athletes
BIG RESPECT SIR LEWIS HAMILTON
He is flat out beating on car! He can’t be far off current lap times. The sound is Just Awesome! Can’t wait to see these in a race.
These tyres are very slow compared to current tyres
Fingerprints how do you know that? I think it might go faster but I don't know. Gosh, does someone know??? Maybe you are right. Just wondering, why something new if it doesn't....
@Elon Musk sounds great stop crying, it is what it is
@Elon Musk it sounds good. Just enjoy it instead of crying. Jesus...
@@Salomessanctuary Because current tyres has more 'meat' on them, that helps attack kerbs more and serves as additional element to suspension.
That's the spirit of a team and a man that just love the sport .hats off to Sir Lewis , and Mercedes team for all they've gone through to even be preparing for another season, let alone taking the outcome of 2021 and trying to push for change for the better of the sport. I hope we see a season just as epic as last year's but more positive ending . Max and Sir Lewis were on a different level but I think Lewis may come back even stronger, if that's possible new cars , new new Lewis new world champion under new rules .what's not to get excited about.
Awesome, that car flies. Its amazing the speed it gets on straights.
Great vid, sound quality is fantastic, and the sound of the engine notes decaying around the track is a lovely thing to hear. No shite music overdubbed, interesting camera angles and well edited. Good effort 👍
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
that sound of the v6 hahaha amazing
Can't believe the V6T hybrid sounds so good now compared to 2014😲
I wanna know Hamilton's first impression or feedback about the new tires.
@MAAHAQQ Michelin will probably never come back to F1 because of the 05 us GP
“Bono, my tyres...!”
@@anthonymolina7416 Michelin were open to coming back but wanted to be in competition with another supplier just like Bridgestone last time, they want a tyre war effectively which drives them to build better tyres for the road, they didn't want to be a sole supplier making spec tyres according to what mood the FIA are in which could harm their reputation

I thought I would miss the 13" wheels after so many years but nah I already forgot it lol
What's the point of a larger wheel?
@@mmarwaan6378 None. Only vanity. There is nothing to really justify this change.
@@lucasjunior8544 more contact patch and durability
@@mmarwaan6378 bigger brakes

they should color one SPOKE of the rimm that would be a lot cooler.
Hamilton is The best of the late brakers. He's going to be even more dominant because those rears look like they could take a lot of punishment
Max and Daniel : 🤔🤔
@@didyouknow5648 Max is not a late braker. He brakes earlier and takes more speed into the corner.
@@soostdijk You sure about that
Ricciardo generally brakes later than most in F1.
@@andrewhezekiahdaniel Very true...
i hope lewis will not radio on bono and say "Bono, my tires are gone"
Im excited to see these tyres running on a 2022 livery
And then sets his fastest lap.
Those rims looking sexy as hell ,F1 needs these sort of camera angles
The Ferrari guys 'observing' in the pits making sure they get 100% of the information. Ferrari probably had satellites monitoring everything
Those are two firemen actually 😅
@@MattyB727 Yyyeess 🧐 "Firemen"...
The rule is pirelli have to share all of the data with all of the teams anyway so no real need for any team to spy
The firemen are o🅱️serving.
The extent the well funded teams to spy o b what the competition is developing no doubt is Mind boggling. Montreal 1994 I came across a small article , Ilmor apparently shipped a power unit to McLaren post Qualifying. Delivery was late Friday and left outside the pit garage . Intake manifold and cylinder heads were missing the next morning.
Man that looks very fast change of direction with no wasted motion.very directional.
Those rims looks cool. 🔥
Wow,those tyres look really goood m8
That AMG Mercedes looks really sick with the new 18" rim's! Can't wait for next year...
Appreciate this video! loved it! sound is amazing.
Thank you! ✌🏻
Damn thats fast! Looks good sounds awesome can't wait for the new season to get here! Lewis is so smooth at high speeds man I love it!
Happy to see Lewis back on track n setting the pace..car and pace was off at start but after pitted seem to got more speed..
Wheels are a definite improvement in looks.
It's crazy how well tuned the engine, transmission, and generator are.
I didn't hear lots of backfiring like in the old V-8 days.
A little bit around timestamp 3:17
these angles are brilliant. the official broadcast should also have these angles
Looks really good on 18s. Car very stable and hooked up in the corner. I hope this eliminates the crazy lateral sidewall oscillations the 13” were getting with high slip angles. Looking forward to the new car with 18s
At least 18 inch. This oscylations of 13 inch wheels were creazy. Now it looks really stabil and I think more predictible for engeeners and especially for drivers. Hope for a really challanging driving next season for more teams than RBR and Merc
Didn´t know 2021 F1 cars had actually noise!! Wow!!
Thank you!!
Why is no one talking about that save at 0:43? It was massive!
Bc it was just a twitch, not massive Hamilton fanboi.
@@vieroboy just a twitch at mental speed, I would praise anyone capable of making a legitimately split second save like that

The turn in on the modern f1 car, whoa. Great angles and video.
Thank you! ✌🏻
these look great they're menacing. big improvement visually.
What's better than having quite possibly the fastest Formula One car of all time, Imola, and fresh rubber all to yourself.
Last year's car was the fastest of all time
That's the W10
Hamilton absolutely sending it- love to him thrive!
I'm not happy that there are gonna be wheel covers next year, these look sick uncovered.
I thought I liked the smaller wheels but after watching this I actually really like this wheel/tire combination better.
Come on Sir Lewis Hamilton.
You Are The Best F1 Driver in The Wold.
If he is the best then why he'd send someone into a 51G impact?
Race day camera angles have bamboozled your average f1 causal fan (trolls basically) into thinking they can drive an F1 car
The current F1 V6 Hybrid sound is much better than its early years
this is absolute gold footage
Speeds are just insane.
Those downshifts are glorious
Seems promising season this year, can't wait to watch it.
The cars sound more bad-ass than I thought....oh wheels look good too!
Will be interesting to see how they handle the curbs, testing is fine but under race conditions you have to create a space to pass sometimes.
God damn!!! How that engine was purring!!! I would love to drive one of these sweet marvels! Listen closely and you could hear downshifting!!!
Rim shot: Badum tssshhhh! 🥁
The GOAT is incredible to watch wow!
Damn fences getting in the way, stoked for next year for sure they look aesthetically pleasing.
Really cool. Thanks for this!
Thank you for watching!
Awesome camera work and gorgeous sound from the Mercedes V6 hybrid engine 😊👍❤️💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!
There’s me thinking they all go off on holiday straight after the season is finished.
0.59 is an unbelievable shot!
Better than Sky TV!
Thank you so much! 😎
Min 4:43 that quick reaction getting his traction together , I got shivers seeing that , I’d literally s***t my pants if I was in that car
Keep up the good work Lewis Hamilton you get your 8 world championship this year
Nah George and Verstappen's gonna wipe the floor with him
Hamilton : testing new 18'' wheels...
Verstappen : hold my beer...
They look good and initial impressions for me seems good in the clips of released runs.
🤩Visually a pleasure .. Finally no more donuts ... hopefully it will bring something to the dynamics .
Lewis found his true job test driver 😂
even at the tests i hear "Bono, my tire is gone!"
The V6s sound way better in real life than on TV wtf
Dayum those wheels look sekkksy
Hope the tires provide better grip and last longer
Why so we can never see a pass again without drs?
It's a rule in fia how long tires can last. Pirelli said that they can make tires last whole season while holding grip.
2015:GP2 Engine
2022:GP2 Wheel (but looks really good)
Thanks for recommending this RUclips, I needed boring to sleep. R.I.P F1

The greatest driver in the history of formula 1 racing.
Jeez that Mercedes is flying
Formula video + listening to the music I like (Delta Parole, Metallica and other) make me feel the speed and excitement!
Merci ! C'est mieux filmé qu'à la télévision, les caméramans pour la télé zoom beaucoup trop, enlevant une bonne partie de l'impression de vitesse !
