There is already an article for the Deaflympics, and it doesn't seem proper to have a rather brief, undescriptive article for every time the Deaflympics occurs. I propose that we delete (or merge, if possible) the specific year-by-year articles listed on Template:Deaflympics. Biblio (talk) WikiProject Reforming Wikipedia. 00:43, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. I don't feel we need to have a separate page for each of the events at this point. These could be on the main Deaflympics page. Dane2007 (talk) 03:26, 2 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. I'm not sure a "need" for an article or it being "proper" are really relevant points, the event is notable enough for its on page. See sources such as [1], [2], [3], [4], which could be used to expand the article to look something like we have for each Olympics/Paralympics/Commonwealth/Pan-American etc. Games with sections on the host selection, sports contested, venues, opening & closing ceremonies, medallists and so on - Basement12 (T.C) 16:28, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep There have been enough competitions that including all that information on the main article for each of them would be unwieldy and create an unnecessarily long article. Smartyllama (talk) 12:56, 7 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
