Airliner's "Illuminism" from his "None LP" featuring a vast panoply of hypnotic colours and shapes Find out more about this artist @ airliner.bandca...
That footage is from John Whitney's "Early Abstractions" (1946-57) He was an animator, composer and inventor, considered to be the father of computer animation.
This playlist was enough to convince me to go to Airliner/Com Truise's website and actually buy the None LP. I am totally glad I did. It is refreshing to pay for music that I like, especially since buying music seems so rare these days. This LP was irresistible though, and I think that this sort of thing is the way to go. I don't often come across music I'm willing to pay for, but this LP is the bee's knees. This is perfect background music while I work.
I'm in a cubicle 10 hrs a day right now, this stuff pulls me through: Tommy, Lazerhawk, Tycho, CFCF, El Ten Eleven, Powerglove, Syn, etc... It's so Damn good!
Seth Haley is genious! whatever he touches is smooth and euphoric. If music like this doesn't make you feel appreciative of life and everything around, than you have truely lost your soul..
@SynesthesiaeFilms well that's great then. And yes, i am aware that Com Truise & Airliner are both Seth Haley's projects but i didn't think they were under the same genre. But who cares about genres, i love Seth Haley's music and that's what counts.
I feel like... I had 8 bits... in my blood vessels... fate beats... psychedelic mountains to hike... lightspeed runs and Kessels... Gently dancing females... lightly electric ales... Eyes with galaxies inbound... Four channel howl of a hound... Just don't press stop on the deck... This tape is a hack... Melting our souls together with sound... Her eyes are just round... Her beautiful moves... Aligned to neuro-stimulant grooves... Leave me never... World... Entombed in code forever.
I think something to keep in mind is that while genres can be useful to find other music you like. They can also be very limiting at times just like any sort of label or generalization. Use genres when they help you, disregard them when they don't.
yeah, that and Self-Destruct are the only real full-length/EP releases. but if you look around on his Myspace or some other places. their are some other unheard, more obscure tracks from him floating around. last I heard he said he was still intent on releasing another Airliner album in the future. though honestly that was said a while ago.
this is like a mix of boards of canada and com truise hell yea this music is so damm sweet sucks that its not on mtv and radio, schit is to mainstream these days this is the real music
In school I used to put the entire album on the school computers and listen while I wrote my summaries of " A Dogs Purpose". Its sad that teachers dont allow it because music really does help me and probably you guys study.
+RiddenPony If it weren't so rough it wouldn't suit the visuals. That artificial rustiness is what this is song is about and is the reason the master is rough. It's art man..
WaveMusic Out of all the personas, who is your favorite? So far I've only heard of Com Truise, Sarin Sunday and Airliner... didn't know about the Nostalgic Music Foundation!
He also released an EP: 'Self Destruct EP" Just google 'airliner self destruct ep' and the first result should take you to his website, where you can download it for free!
So Airliner is Com Truise? Did he release any EP or album under Airliner pseudonym? Would love to find it if yes! Can't seem to find more tracks from this Airliner pseudo.
there is no way you can classify this with the rest of electronic music....there's a distinctive difference that needs to be pointed out...that's why it is a sub-genre of electronic music, this would be most commonly classified as new wave synth pop.
That footage is from John Whitney's "Early Abstractions" (1946-57)

Literally my favorite song of all time
Still waiting for this banger to hit Spotify. Legendary track.

I did the same thing, too bad its so short
I got that feeling, sometimes you need a gateaway.
@@AutoNomadic hey you still in that cubicle?? Lol
@rosscobosco Different state, same damn cubicle lol 😆
Sounds So Much Like Boards Of Canada. Love Every Second Of It!
Ochre too. I love ochre
Just wow. Amazing music. Transports my mind into the Cosmos.
Seth Haley is genious! whatever he touches is smooth and euphoric. If music like this doesn't make you feel appreciative of life and everything around, than you have truely lost your soul..
The two people who disliked this, do not understand that the mind is separate from the body.
They are not separate. Its a mysterious interplay, not for the rational mind to analyse.
The genre of this music is: ADDICTED !
This is Lone meets Board of Canada meets Com Truise and I absolutely LOVE IT 😍
My favorite song off the album. Very classic vintage imagery - goes perfect with the nostalgic feel of the music.
Vintage...and my first Com Truise song I discovered.
Such positive vibes. I totally love this song.
So Haley made this? Are you kidding me? The man, is, a goddamn genius!!!!
The BoC is strong in this track.
That is not a slam.
I like this track as well as the directions Seth has taken recently.
@SynesthesiaeFilms well that's great then.

This has Lone written all over it.
I know right! :O
If I wouldn't peep the name i would've thought this was Lone completely
n8ames Lone and Airliner (now Com Truise) both took inspiration from Boards of Canada, so this can be expected.
¡Gracias!
Seth Haley 🙏
This has gotten me relaxed and very focused at the same time.

I'm late to the party but this is so fucking dope. Oh man.
This is such a beautiful piece of art 😍
This is what my dreams sound like
huge boc inspiration in a great way

@RossbartonFS
It's music for the elevator in my head...
your stuff is brilliant man! Really dig the video.
sounds like some shit you'd hear on adult swim at like 2 am back in the day
bro I miss those songs
children.
They're going to play this when I walk down the aisle.
mind blowing.
Sick beat ! awesome !!!
The vid is also great !

This is just as good as BoC wow

So this is early Com Truise?
Sounds like *Boards of Canada* to me ;-)
is it really early com truise?
Yes. But I think his first name artist was "Systm"
in a interview he stated he was directly influenced by BOC. I love both artists tho BOC is two people.
Both Hella dope. But yeah this is cruise
Ochre
this music video is actually describing what I see when I close my eyes when i am high
friggin blissful
I was thinking that this sounded quite a bit like Com Truise...
Well it turns out it _is_ Com Truise.
@tomshoot It certainly is and the great part is that there's no cure.
LOVE IT
Down since systm but this 1 always gets me ! Seth coMe back to kansas forever €££¥
highhhhhh....❤🍁🍁
Really gorgeous and a big fan of his. Needs a remaster, maybe?
+RiddenPony you're not getting the point
+RiddenPony If it weren't so rough it wouldn't suit the visuals. That artificial rustiness is what this is song is about and is the reason the master is rough. It's art man..
Thank you Latex
That is an excellent word.
I don't know how;
but I feel as though it should be used.
This is fucking magic
Airliner is Com Truise? Well I didn't see that coming.
Seth Haely is; ComTruise, Airliner, SYSTM, Sarin Sunday and Nostalgic Music Foundation.
WaveMusic
Out of all the personas, who is your favorite? So far I've only heard of Com Truise, Sarin Sunday and Airliner... didn't know about the Nostalgic Music Foundation!
Don't forget 'Syn'
* "The Experiment" - Mimeo (Teeel) just some random facts I was spouting out.
@@Penelope416Sarin Sunday. 🖤
Good stuff here, reminds me of Boards of Canada kind of
I like this slightly better than the Com Truise stuff...maybe because it reminds me of Lone, and Lone kicks ass.
yeeeah
good morning!
I love it ❤🥰😘🥳👍
that synth in beginning remind of LONE
He also released an EP: 'Self Destruct EP" Just google 'airliner self destruct ep' and the first result should take you to his website, where you can download it for free!
this video is soo cool
Beautiful. Here are a few suggestions.
Saganfunk
NOVAfunk
WGBH-Bostonfunk
Calm enough to listen to any time... really like it, it's like elevator music in some inside out planet.
This has total Com Truise vibes
I hear alot of sounds from this that remind me of the soundtrack 187. Might just be me.
Me hears B.O.C. samples in here. But, hey, we all know how C.T. loves B.O.C...
Willard White What's B.O.C? Just recently hearing this style music, and can't seem to find enough lol.
MrJaneyDoe Boards of Canada. Check them out asap.
Oh duh. Haha yeah I know them. Thanks mate
MrJaneyDoe
no problem
Airliner + Com Truise + Flying Lotus MUST do a tour together
need this in hq
This sounds like an aphex twin tune I heard but slowed down
@dissectional19 simply put, its chill wave.
So Airliner is Com Truise? Did he release any EP or album under Airliner pseudonym? Would love to find it if yes! Can't seem to find more tracks from this Airliner pseudo.
Does somebody know where is "Airliner - Toyota Prius" ???
now everybody say AAACIIIIIDDDDD
so sweet (:
@albbbigiblett We couldn't agree more! That is what really counts man. At least you have some excellent taste in our opinion.
How'd u make the shapes and colors? or where'd u get them from?
Oh yeah OK I just read the info, this is from None LP. Note to self: Read before write!
mmmm smelled like the 80s when I walked in
hate genres, love music!
Boards of Canada?
chillwave has landed.........
I think many people call it chillwave. I like just calling it retro Cx
@albbbigiblett Dur, of course we know that, because we actually know the guy.
there is no way you can classify this with the rest of electronic music....there's a distinctive difference that needs to be pointed out...that's why it is a sub-genre of electronic music, this would be most commonly classified as new wave synth pop.
It's like "L33ts - Makrocosm"
Eli was here...
@kraenk12 maybe his last EP, but not the rest of it.
sounds like it was or part of it was made on modplug tracker
@3dc
I was thinking the same thing
@dissectional19 futuristic elevator music.
Anyone know what kind of film this was taken from... I'm guessing 8mm or 16mm?
genre: electronica
More importantly... what is this video and where can I find it?
Vapordelic
That's cool. 💫
synthesize schlorm particles to the last deledeceased lion tamer on the southern front of cape horn. diagonal lines, third world lesions.
@albbbigiblett
airliner is com truise, bro.....
I am dissapointed cause I thought that synthwave artists make their own melodies, but yet, this is just another sample... JOEL FAJERMAN - SOLEIL FROID
Anyone have any idea how the video was done?
As Nina said - Google this brilliant magician. It was made half a century ago!
+HBH ZTH Agreed. Highly recommended....
Airliner = Com Truise :-)
digitalia
@dissectional19 post-hop
I just favoured it, i mean, I had to.
@vittorioaja quite a close minded view you have there
